The position is with Leading Company and they are looking for GCC Setup & Operations Lead (Mid Management)
Role Purpose:
The GCC Operations Lead is a key leadership role, charged with building out the GCC capability from scratch, stabilizing it, scaling operations, ensuring governance, compliance, cost and service quality targets are met, and acting as a bridge between internal and external stakeholders. This person will plan, build, transition and then lead operations in a multi- functional, multi- stakeholder environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Below are the detailed responsibilities across key buckets:
1. GCC Set-Up & Transition:
- Lead the end-to-end establishment of the GCC as new service platform: planning, infrastructure, process design, governance, compliance, technology, workspace etc.
- Design the operating model(s) (build-scale-transfer, managed service, captive), decide which model suits which client, and lead implementation.
- Vendor / service provider identification, negotiation, contracting (facilities, workspace, IT vendors, recruitment vendors, compliance/legal advisers etc.).
- Manage transition of processes: from current state to GCC, including knowledge capture, process mapping, transition planning, risk assessment, pilot runs.
- Build the sales / go-to-market / client pitch materials / sales deck and proposals tailored to target customer segments (e.g. global corporates, financial services, tech etc.).
2. Operational Management & Delivery for GCC:
- Once operating, lead day-to-day operations across all adopted service lines / functions (e.g. Finance & Accounts, HR, Procurement, IT / Infrastructure, Compliance, Governance etc.).
- Monitor, define and track service levels, quality metrics (defects, turnaround time, accuracy etc.), productivity, cost per transaction / cost metrics, employee utilization etc.
- Lead continuous improvement, process standardization, automation, efficiency drives.
- Support budgeting, financial forecasting, cost control, P&L management. Optimize cost of operations without compromising service or compliance.
3. Acquiring Talent & Harnessing Culture:
- Talent Acquisition: Onboard and work with the recruitment firms to fulfil talent sourcing requirement for GCC client.
- Engage with HR firms to build hiring strategies: talent pool, recruitment plans, sourcing channels, employer branding, compensation benchmarks.
- Establish culture aligned with GCC clients values: integrity, quality, innovation, collaboration, continuous improvement.
- Talent retention: engagement, feedback mechanisms, performance reviews, mentoring.
4. Governance, Risk, Compliance:
- Design and put in place governance framework: policies, SOPs, oversight mechanisms, reporting structures for GCC operations to work smoothly
- Ensure compliance with local laws/ regulations (labour laws, data privacy, taxation etc.) and global standards relevant to clients.
- Implement internal controls, audit readiness, risk identification and mitigation strategies.
- Data protection, information security, confidentiality especially critical in research / analytics business.
5. Stakeholder Engagement & Sales Enablement:
- Serve as the internal point of contact for global client / internal business unit stakeholders. Coordinate expectations, deliverables, escalations.
- Work with sales / BD / senior leadership to create and deliver sales decks / proposals. Translate business needs into service offerings.
- Participate in client meetings / pitches / RFPs as required. Provide inputs on pricing, delivery model, risk etc.
- Regular reporting to President, Group CEO: status of set-up, operational readiness, financials, risks, scaling plans.
