Gland Pharma - Portfolio Management Role - Biosimilar/Biologic/Innovative Assets

Job Summary:

Pharmaceutical professional having relevant experience across licensing, competitive intelligence, forecasting, and business development, with exposure to biosimilars, biologics, vaccines, and innovative therapies. The role focuses on driving biosimilar and innovative portfolio strategy for prominent Indian pharmaceutical companies, supporting global in-licensing, pipeline planning, and long-term growth across regulated and emerging markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Identify and lead evaluation of biosimilar, biologic, and innovative assets (including novel biologics, NCEs, vaccines, and advanced modalities) across oncology, autoimmune, CNS,and related therapy areas for in-licensing and partnership opportunities in the China, US, EU, India, and emerging markets.

- Develop and present detailed business cases for shortlisted biosimilar and innovative assets, incorporating market sizing, competitive benchmarking, pricing and access assumptions, and financial projections.

- Drive biosimilar and biologics pipeline strategy, based on technical feasibility, regulatory pathways, manufacturing complexity, and commercial attractiveness.

- Conduct competitive intelligence and market landscaping for reference biologics and biosimilars, including launch sequencing, pricing erosion, interchangeability risks, and lifecycle management strategies.

- Design and maintain management dashboards, trackers, and intelligence tools to support data-driven decision-making for biosimilar, oncology, and non-oncology licensing initiatives.

- Lead and support scientific, technical, and commercial due diligence for biosimilars and advanced biologics, including monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and CAR-T therapies, in collaboration with R&D, regulatory, manufacturing, and external stakeholders.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align biosimilar and innovative portfolio decisions with organizational capabilities and long-term strategic objectives.
