Gilbarco Veeder Root - Project Manager - R&D Operations

Job Overview:

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our R&D Operations. This role focuses on tracking and facilitating multiple small-to-medium R&D projects, creating dashboards and reports to monitor progress and KPIs, and ensuring cross-team visibility. You will work closely with team leads across R&D to support execution and alignment.

Responsibilities:

- Track timelines, deliverables, risks, and dependencies across multiple R&D projects.

- Facilitate meetings, status updates, and decision-making processes for cross-functional teams.

- Create and maintain dashboards and visual reports (e.g., Jira, Excel, Power BI) to provide up-to-date visibility on project health and KPIs.

- Ensure consistent project documentation and data hygiene.

- Flag delays or blockers and support mitigation efforts.

- Collaborate with R&D Team Leads, Product Managers, and other stakeholders to gather updates and align priorities.

- Support process improvements and standardization within the R&D Operations team.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in a tech/R&D environment.

- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Hands-on experience with project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Monday.com).

- Proficiency with dashboards and data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Looker).

- Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Self-driven, structured, and dependable.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- CSM Certified.

Nice to Have:

- Background or experience in software development or engineering environments.

- Experience working in or supporting SaaS companies.
