Position Snapshot:
- Reporting to the VP Sales.
- Based out of Bengaluru. Candidate must be open to extensive travel.
- Qualified as B.E. | B Tech Civil and with an MBA, preferably in sales and marketing.
- Experience in developing solutions in civil / infrastructure projects, negotiating and closing/winning projects with contractors, consultants, and owners.
- Strong demonstrated network with key accounts and ability to develop good relationship with customer in the Region.
- Ability to develop and promote internal and external collaboration with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and convert to sales major projects.
- Strong technical acumen is a must for carrying out TECHNO-COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY.
- Balanced profile based on target based "Project Sales" and "Midstream/Upstream Business Development" activity on both Geoquest India core and diversified segments and sectors.
- Must display good communication skill with clarity and transparency
- 15-20 years of total experience.
Critical roles and responsibilities are:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the South Region.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and engaging with potential clients, including government agencies, engineering firms, contractors, and developers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, consultants, and partners, to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Lead and mentor the sales team to ensure high performance, motivation, and professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and operations, to deliver integrated solutions and support project execution.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product development and improvement.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and action plans.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards in all sales activities.
- Represent Geoquest India at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
