GenX PV - Finance Manager

Key responsibilities

- Financial strategy and planning: Develop and execute financial strategies, create long-term financial plans, and provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team.

- Financial operations: Lead all aspects of budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. Oversee accounting, audit, tax, and treasury functions.

- Manufacturing-specific oversight: Drive cost optimization, capital efficiency, and working capital management across manufacturing operations. Provide financial leadership for capital projects, plant expansions, and supply chain investments.

- Risk management and compliance: Ensure robust internal controls, manage financial risk, and guarantee compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

- Stakeholder relations: Manage relationships with banks, auditors, investors, and regulatory bodies. Communicate financial performance and risks clearly to the board and other stakeholders.

- Strategic initiatives: Support mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic partnerships.

- Financial reporting: Ensure the timely and accurate production and communication of financial reports to the CEO, board of directors, and other stakeholders.

- Lead and mentor finance & accounting team (e.g. accounts payable / receivable, payroll, general ledger)

Qualifications and skills:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, CA or Economics. An MBA or CPA is highly desirable.

- Experience: Significant experience (e.g., 10+ years) in finance leadership, with a proven track record in a senior role. Experience in manufacturing is a strong plus.

Skills:

- Strategic thinking and problem-solving.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g. Ind AS / IFRS or local GAAP), tax laws, statutory requirements

- Strong leadership and communication skills.

- Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office.

- Advanced knowledge of corporate finance, financial law, and risk management practices
