Role Objective

We're looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to drive growth for our Smart Metering Software Solutions including MDMS, HES, and Energy Data Analytics. If you have deep insights into utility operations, a knack for client engagement, and a sharp sense of commercial strategy, this role is made for you.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead strategic growth for Genuss Smart Metering software portfolio.

- Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive gaps through in-depth market research.

- Build and manage a strong pipeline for MDMS, Head-End Systems, and energy analytics.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape client-centric solutions and ensure successful deployments.

- Build trusted relationships with utilities, government bodies, and global partners.

- Develop business cases and financial models to support investment decisions.

- Own P&L for assigned verticals, ensuring revenue growth and profitability.

- Represent Genus at industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance brand presence.

- Stay updated with evolving regulations and industry trends in energy & utilities.

What You Bring

- Master's or Bachelor's in any related field.

- 515 years of business development experience in software and solution sales

- Exposure to the energy/utility domain (Smart Metering is a huge plus!)

- Excellent communication in English and local language(s)

- Strong networking, presentation, and negotiation skills

- A consultative mindset with proven experience in client engagement & business modeling
