Roles & Responsibilities:
Regional Business Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and execute the regional growth strategy aligned with the organization's national BD goals.
- Own and manage the regional sales pipeline, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and policy changes to adapt strategies proactively.
- Provide leadership and guidance to regional BD managers, officers, and project coordinators.
High-Level Stakeholder Management:
- Build, nurture, and influence strategic relationships with senior government officials, department heads, urban and rural local bodies, and CSR leaders.
- Represent the company at regional government forums, public policy discussions, and industry consortiums.
- Large-Scale Project Acquisition & Execution Oversight
- Lead the development and closure of large and strategic deals with government and semi-government entities.
- Oversee end-to-end project planning and execution across the region, ensuring adherence to deliverables, budgets, and timelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams (operations, legal, finance, product) for seamless execution.
Revenue Leadership & Account Growth:
- Drive revenue achievement for the region through aggressive yet ethical sales practices.
- Track performance metrics, client conversion ratios, and payment collections.
- Identify and expand key accounts through upselling, cross-selling, and long-term engagement.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- 10-15 years of experience in Business Development, with proven leadership in B2G/B2B2G environments, especially in waste management equipment.
- Deep understanding of public procurement, government projects, and CSR ecosystems.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Fluent in English, Hindi, and preferably the regional language (e.g., Marathi).
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Excel, and sales analytics
