Generex Pharmassist - General Manager - Accounts & Finance

Job Summary :

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Senior professional in Accounts and Finance to manage day-to-day accounting functions and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for verifying the accuracy of financial records, preparing statutory returns, and overseeing the finalization of accounts.

Job Responsibilities:

- Responsible for recording, maintaining, and verifying accurate accounting entries in compliance with applicable accounting standards and the company's financial policies

- Reviewing and reconciling GST returns with the accounting records to ensure accuracy and compliance.

- Overseeing the periodic closure and finalization of books of accounts in accordance with applicable financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Ensuring timely and accurate compliance with all applicable tax laws, including Income Tax, TDS, and GST regulations.

- Calculating advance tax liabilities for the company, its directors, and their family members in accordance with applicable tax regulations.

- Possess thorough knowledge of preparing and filing GST returns, Income Tax returns, and TDS returns in compliance with statutory requirements.

- Managing statutory compliances and ensuring proper maintenance of financial records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.

- Responsible for financial planning and fund management on a daily and monthly basis, including monitoring incoming funds against projections and scheduling payments to relevant parties based on fund availability.

- Managing tax audits by preparing required reports, schedules, and supporting documentation in line with audit requirements and regulatory standards.

- Preparing final accounts, including the Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, and accompanying schedules, in compliance with accounting standards on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis.

- Liaising with bankers for managing bank limits, including providing necessary documentation and information for the renewal or processing of credit facilities.

- Summarizing the current financial status by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data and reports to support informed decision-making.

- Preparing and presenting comprehensive Management Information System (MIS) reports in alignment with managements requirements to facilitate informed decision-making and strategic planning

- Managing accounting entries pertaining to shares and derivatives in compliance with applicable financial regulations and reporting standards.

- Exhibiting strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with internal stakeholders and regulatory authorities

Qualification : M.Com / CA preferable with 8-10 years or more experience or CA with 3 years more experience

Skills Required:

- Proven experience in accounting and tax compliance.

- Good knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS, and related statutory requirements.

- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
