Role Overview:
A leading consumer-focused organization is looking for a senior leader to drive its General Trade and Trade Marketing strategy across India. This role will own national trade strategy, execution excellence, and ROI-driven trade investments while working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Pan-India Trade Marketing vision and roadmap
- Drive General Trade performance - distribution, visibility, and execution
- Define and govern channel strategies across GT, MT, Q-Commerce, HoReCa & others
- Own trade marketing budgets with strong ROI and governance
- Track market trends, competition, and channel performance
- Build and mentor a high-performing Trade Marketing team
- Partner with cross-functional leadership to scale growth initiatives
Ideal Candidate:
- 12-18 years of experience in Sales / Trade Marketing / Channel Strategy
- Strong exposure to General Trade at national or multi-regional level
- FMCG / Food & Beverage / Consumer industry background preferred
- Strategic mindset with strong execution orientation
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills
