General Manager - Warehousing Operations - FMCG

- The General Manager - Warehousing Operations will be responsible for leading and transforming large-scale warehousing and distribution operations across multiple sites.

- The role focuses on operational excellence, process standardization, cost optimization, technology adoption (WMS, automation), and people leadership to support business growth and service commitments.

- This position partners closely with supply chain, planning, procurement, IT, and business stakeholders to build scalable, future-ready warehousing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end warehouse operations across multiple DCs / fulfillment centers

- Define and implement standardized SOPs, governance, and best practices

- Drive productivity improvement, cost reduction, and service level adherence

- Lead warehouse layout design, capacity planning, racking, MHE selection & ROI analysis

- Own WMS implementation, upgrades, and continuous optimization

- Drive automation initiatives (ASRS, conveyors, sorters, pick-to-light, etc.)

- Manage 3PL partners, contracts, SLAs, and performance reviews

- Ensure inventory accuracy, shrinkage control, and audit compliance

- Build strong safety, quality, and compliance culture across operations

- Lead, mentor, and develop senior warehouse leadership teams

- Provide data-driven insights, dashboards, and executive reporting
