General Manager - Warehousing & Distribution

Job Description:

We are looking for a seasoned Warehousing & Distribution leader to head end-to-end warehouse operations and distribution strategy across multiple locations.

The role will be responsible for driving operational excellence, cost optimization, service-level improvement, and scalable infrastructure to support business growth.

The incumbent will work closely with supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, sales, and external logistics partners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and oversee end-to-end warehousing and distribution operations across regions

- Design and execute warehousing strategy aligned with business and growth plans

- Ensure optimal inventory management, space utilization, and throughput efficiency

- Drive distribution network optimization to improve service levels and reduce logistics costs

- Establish SOPs, KPIs, and governance frameworks for warehouse and DC operations

- Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, quality, and regulatory requirements

- Lead automation, WMS implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives

- Manage 3PL partners, transporters, and vendor performance

- Control warehousing and distribution budgets, capex planning, and cost optimization

- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing operations teams across locations

- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless supply chain execution
