Job Title: General Manager - Treasury
Department: Finance & Accounts
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Location: Gurugram
Experience: 15+ years in Treasury/Finance in a leadership role
Job Purpose:
To oversee and manage the organization's treasury operations, including cash management, banking relationships, working capital, debt management, forex risk, and investment strategies, ensuring liquidity, risk mitigation, and cost-effective financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Cash & Liquidity Management
- Monitor daily cash flows and ensure optimal utilization of funds.
- Plan and forecast short-term and long-term cash requirements.
2. Fund Management & Banking
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Raise short-term and long-term funds as per business needs at optimal costs.
- Negotiate credit terms, overdrafts, and working capital facilities.
3. Forex & Risk Management
- Manage foreign currency exposure and hedge using appropriate instruments (forwards, options, swaps).
- Monitor market conditions and implement currency risk mitigation strategies.
4. Investment & Surplus Management
- Invest surplus funds in low-risk, high-liquidity instruments as per treasury policy.
- Monitor returns and ensure compliance with internal investment guidelines.
5. Compliance & Internal Controls
- Ensure compliance with RBI, FEMA, SEBI, and other regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain treasury policies, procedures, and controls.
6. Reporting & MIS
- Prepare periodic MIS, cash flow forecasts, and treasury dashboards.
- Present reports to senior management on treasury performance and key risks.

- Managing Credit Rating agency
- Managing Financial modeling
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education: CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA
Experience: 15+ years in Treasury/Corporate Finance, with strong exposure to fundraising, forex, and working capital management.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- High proficiency in Excel, Treasury Management Systems (TMS), and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP)
- Deep understanding of financial instruments and RBI/SEBI guidelines
- Strategic thinking and ability to lead a team
Preferred Industry Background: Oil and Gas, Mining, Manufacturing, Power or similar capital-intensive industries.
