Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

- Lead end-to-end execution of greenfield and brownfield expansion projects.

- Manage project planning, budgeting, procurement, execution, commissioning, and handover.

- Ensure projects are delivered within approved timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and equipment suppliers.

Engineering & Maintenance:

- Drive reliability and availability of plant equipment through preventive and predictive maintenance.

- Develop long-term engineering strategies to improve operational efficiency.

- Lead utility operations including boilers, chillers, compressors, refrigeration, HVAC, electrical systems, and water treatment plants.

- Ensure optimum spare parts inventory and maintenance planning.

Manufacturing Excellence:

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Root Cause Analysis.

- Identify opportunities for cost optimization, energy conservation, and productivity enhancement.

- Implement automation and digital transformation initiatives across manufacturing operations.

Compliance & Safety:

- Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental, food safety, and engineering regulations.

- Drive adherence to GMP, HACCP, FSSAI, ISO 22000, BRC, and other applicable standards.

- Promote a strong safety culture across engineering and project teams.

Leadership:

- Build and mentor a high-performing engineering and maintenance team.

- Establish KPIs for engineering performance, maintenance effectiveness, project delivery, and cost management.

- Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, Finance, and Commercial teams.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Education:

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.

- Master's degree (preferred).

Experience:

- 15-20 years of progressive experience in Projects & Engineering within the FMCG, Food Processing, Beverage, Dairy, Pharma, or Process Manufacturing industry.

- Proven experience in executing large-scale CAPEX projects.

- Strong exposure to manufacturing utilities, maintenance systems, and engineering operations.

- Experience in automation, plant modernization, and continuous improvement initiatives is highly desirable.
