Job Title: Head - Talent Acquisition


Location: Chennai


Reports To: CHRO


Role Overview:


The Head Talent Acquisition will lead the organizations overall recruitment function, driving strategic and operational excellence across all levels of hiring. The role requires an accomplished HR leader with deep expertise in leadership hiring, AI-enabled recruitment systems, and data-driven hiring strategies, ensuring alignment with the organizations growth and diversity goals.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Talent Acquisition Strategy:


- Develop and execute a robust Talent Acquisition roadmap aligned with business goals and future workforce needs.


- Collaborate with the CHRO and Business Heads to forecast manpower requirements and design efficient hiring plans.


- Lead and mentor a multi-location TA team supporting corporate, manufacturing, and field operations.


2. Leadership Hiring:


- Drive leadership and senior-level hiring across functions and business verticals.


- Build strong relationships with external executive search partners and maintain an active leadership talent pipeline.


- Partner with business and HR leadership on succession planning and critical role identification.


3. Digital & AI-Driven Recruitment:


- Implement and manage AI-based recruitment systems, ATS platforms, and analytics tools to enhance hiring quality and efficiency.


- Utilize digital sourcing, automation, and data insights to optimize recruitment processes.


- Track key metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire, ensuring data-backed decisions.


4. Employer Branding & Candidate Experience:


- Strengthen the companys employer brand positioning through digital, campus, and professional outreach initiatives.


- Deliver a seamless and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.


- Drive campus engagement programs to attract top talent from leading institutes.


5. Diversity & Governance:


- Champion diversity hiring initiatives and ensure inclusive recruitment practices across levels.


- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, legal standards, and ethical hiring practices.


- Standardize TA processes and maintain strong governance and reporting systems.


Qualifications & Experience:


- Full-time MBA, preferably with a specialization in Human Resources.


- 15 to 20 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably in Manufacturing or Sales-driven industries.


- Proven experience working with reputed organizations.


- Demonstrated expertise in leadership hiring and managing large-scale recruitment operations.


- Strong exposure to AI-driven recruitment systems, automation tools, and digital hiring platforms.


- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.


- Professional appearance and the ability to represent the organization in leadership forums.


- Preferred: Female candidates (not mandate), in alignment with diversity and inclusion objectives.
