General Manager - Supply Chain Management & Procurement - Aerospace Component Manufacturing

Responsibilities:

- Create a buying strategy with respect to annual budget.

- Finalize and execute price contracts with global suppliers.

- Vendor risk assessment and mitigation actions.

- Drive Supplier improvement program.

- Decide on consolidation of suppliers.

- Assigning and prioritizing the activities to team and ensuring its completion as per the plan.

- Negotiate commercials with suppliers to maximize the profits and ensure the purchase value less than budgeted cost for all new products.

- Sourcing of shortage items, resolving commercial and technical issues with suppliers.

- Drive cost reduction initiatives to meet the target material prices.

- Component Obsolescence management.

- Proactive identification of suppliers for existing single source, cost reduction and alternative suppliers to replace the poor performance suppliers.

- Conducting supplier meets and visits.

- Provide leadership to Purchase team.

- Develop, establish and maintain good business relationship with suppliers.

- Ensure on time completion of material ordering.

- PO contract reviews and compliance.

- Well versed in managing imports.

- Minimize supply risks.

- Ensure supplier delivers On-time in full with zero defects.

Requirements:

- Exposure of Aerospace Component Manufacturing.

- Experience of Global Sourcing.

- Minimum work Experience - 16 Years.
