Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement the company's overall supply chain strategy, focusing on cost reduction and performance improvement.
Vendor and Supplier Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, distributors, and transportation providers, ensuring quality and fair pricing
Logistics and Operations:
- Oversee all aspects of logistics, including warehousing, inventory control, shipping, and delivery, to ensure timely and efficient movement of goods.
Process Optimization:
- Analyze data from shipping and delivery processes to identify bottlenecks and implement solutions for greater efficiency.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and control inventory levels to meet demand without excess stock or shortages.
Cost Reduction:
- Identify and implement cost-effective solutions throughout the supply chain.
Team Leadership:
- Train, evaluate, and guide the supply chain team to foster a culture of excellence.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal departments (e.g., sales, manufacturing, finance) and external partners to align plans and achieve business goals.
Technology Implementation:
- Explore and implement new technologies to enhance the existing supply chain.
Risk Management:
- Proactively identify and address potential risks and issues within the supply chain.
