General Manager - Supply Chain Management

Role Overview:

As the General Manager Supply Chain Management, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing all aspects of the supply chain, from demand planning and sourcing to warehousing, logistics, and distribution. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, production, and finance, to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives. Your leadership will directly impact the company's profitability, customer satisfaction, and competitive advantage by driving efficiency, reducing costs, and improving service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with overall business goals to enhance efficiency and profitability.

- Lead and mentor a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration, to achieve operational excellence.

- Oversee demand and supply planning processes to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize stockouts or excess inventory, supporting sales targets and customer satisfaction.

- Manage warehouse operations, including inventory control, storage, and order fulfillment, to ensure efficient and accurate distribution of products.

- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and logistics providers to secure favorable terms and optimize costs, enhancing profitability and competitiveness.

- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement, driving continuous optimization.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards to maintain ethical and sustainable supply chain practices.

- Drive the adoption of technology and automation to improve supply chain efficiency and visibility, enhancing decision-making and responsiveness.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in supply chain management, encompassing logistics, warehousing, inventory management, supply planning, demand planning, and transportation.

- Proven ability to develop and execute successful supply chain strategies that drive business results.

- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to identify opportunities and make informed decisions.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

- Adaptability to work on-site in Haryana, ensuring close collaboration with the operations team.
