A General Manager in supply chain control tower is responsible for optimizing and managing the end to end supply chain operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods. This role requires a blend of strategic planning, operational execution and data analysis to ensure smooth operations and minimize disruptions. Strategic Planning and Execution: - Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with the company's goals - Develop and manage plans for inventory levels and replenishment strategies - Oversee logistics operations, including Sourcing hub to dark store inventory movement and reverse flows - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce cost in FC/ sourcing hubs Control Tower Management: - Monitor and analyze real-time, supply chain performance data using dashboards and reporting tools - Identify potential disruptions and proactively implement mitigation strategies - Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and smooth execution Data Analysis and Reporting: - Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in the supply chain - Develop and maintain KPIs to track supply chain performance - Generate reports and dashboards to provide visibility into supply chain operations and identify areas for improvement Cost and Loss Control: - Collaborate with different stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and optimize costs - Manage supply chain losses/ leakages in inventory or handshake issues between different teams - Address issues and resolve them promptly and effectively Requires Skills and Experience: - Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices - Experience in quick commerce or related industries with a focus on FC ops - Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as SQL Excel - Experience in project management and process improvement initiatives
