
GM Strategy & Operations
Position Summary:
GM Strategy & Operations serves as a strategic partner to the Managing Director and plays a critical role in driving organizational priorities, strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration. The role acts as an extension of the leadership team, ensuring effective execution of business objectives, facilitating decision-making, and improving organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities But Not Limited To:
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Support Managing Director in developing and implementing strategic plans and business objectives.
- Monitor progress of key strategic initiatives and ensure timely execution.
- Conduct business analysis, market research, and prepare recommendations for leadership review.
- Drive special projects and transformation initiatives across the organization.
Leadership Support:
- Act as a trusted advisor to Managing Director on business, operational, and organizational matters.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and dashboards.
- Facilitate executive decision-making through data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Manage follow-ups on key decisions and action items.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Coordinate with business heads and functional leaders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
- Resolve cross-departmental issues and drive collaboration among teams.
- Ensure timely completion of critical projects and initiatives.
Governance & Business Reviews:
- Organize management reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
- Prepare agendas, minutes, and action trackers.
- Monitor compliance with organizational policies and governance frameworks.
- Support board meetings and investor presentations as required.
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence:
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and business processes.
- Implement best practices, reporting frameworks, and systems.
- Drive automation and productivity enhancement initiatives.
Stakeholder Management:
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of Managing Director.
- Support interactions with investors, consultants, partners, clients, and key business stakeholders.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business information.
Qualification & Experience:
- MBA or Postgraduate degree from a reputed institution.
- 12-18 years of experience in strategy, business operations, consulting, project management, or leadership roles.
- Experience working closely with senior leadership and managing cross-functional initiatives.
- Prior experience in real estate, infrastructure, hospitality, retail, or corporate sectors will be an advantage.
