
Role Overview:
As the GM Strategy, will drive strategic initiatives that fuel growth and enhance our competitive advantage. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating with senior leadership, business unit heads, and external consultants to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop actionable strategies. You will be instrumental in guiding strategic decision-making, ensuring alignment across the organization, and ultimately, driving significant business outcomes by optimizing resource allocation, mitigating risks, and capitalizing on emerging market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the overall corporate strategy, aligning it with the company's vision and long-term objectives, to ensure sustainable growth and market leadership.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis, competitive intelligence, and industry research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and threats, informing strategic decision-making.
- Lead the development of business plans for new ventures, product launches, and market expansions, providing comprehensive financial models and risk assessments to support investment decisions.
- Oversee the risk management framework, identifying and mitigating potential risks across the organization to protect assets and ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to translate corporate strategy into actionable business strategies, ensuring alignment and effective execution across all departments.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of strategic initiatives, providing regular updates to senior management and recommending adjustments as needed to optimize results.
- Drive strategic partnerships and alliances, negotiating terms and ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategic objectives to expand market reach and access new technologies.
- Lead strategic planning workshops and presentations for senior management and the board of directors, communicating key insights and recommendations to facilitate informed decision-making.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute comprehensive corporate and business strategies that drive significant business growth and market share gains.
- Proven expertise in conducting in-depth market analysis, competitive intelligence, and financial modeling to support strategic decision-making.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify key issues, develop creative solutions, and implement them effectively.
- Deep understanding of risk management principles and practices, with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks across the organization.
- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field from a top-tier institution.
- Adaptability to work in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote work with in-office collaboration as needed.
