General Manager/Senior General Manager - Procurement - Conductor Manufacturing Plant

Position: Head - Procurement (Conductor Manufacturing Plants) for Silvassa and Odisha Plants

Designation: General Manager / Senior General Manager - Procurement

Base Location: Silvassa (U.T. of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu)

Educational Qualification: B.Tech. (Mechanical Engg. / Electrical Engg) Plus MBA in Materials

Experience: 20-25 Years of total experience with maximum exposure in India companies

- Knowledge of ERP , Excel and other related computer skill

- Preferably have experience in Conductor industries. Minimum 20-25 years of procurement experience in manufacturing, preferably in metal/alloy/conductor or similar heavy industry.

Key Responsibilities:

- To Develop and implement strategic procurement plan that align with the organization's goals and objectives

- To Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

- Accountable for timely completion of new projects.

- Accountable for job works at vendor's place to meet the targeted business plan.

- Accountable for P2P cycle for all locations, Competitive sourcing.

- Finalisation of rate and vendor so as to keep the cost with inline to Business Plan.

- Final negotiation for Pkg material in line to market trend. To improve Recycled Steel Drum collection and management of RSD.

- Supporting team for all verticals & Locations for better negotiation and order finalisation for high value / CAPEX.

- To Identify and mitigate potential risks related to procurement, such as supply chain disruptions.

- New Vendor development for critical items including development of domestic vendors for spares replacement.

- Review & monitoring improvement in pkg material quality and availability.

- Implementation of management policy in day to day Procurement Practices.

- Implementation of GEP recommendation, sustainable procurement, Procurement Transformation.

- Review & Approve Supply/Service proposals/Order, annual service/rate contract/Order proposals in SAP as per DoA.

- Sharing various MIS representing procurement function performance. MIS for HTGS MTM & Pkg.
