General Manager/Senior General Manager/Head - Mechanical

Position: General Manager / Senior General Manager - Mechanical (Head of Mechanical Dept.)

Qualification: BE/ B.Tech - Mechanical

Experience: 20 to 25 years in the Construction Industry

The Role:

The candidate should be from the construction industry and have hands-on experience of handling the entire gamut of the Mechanical dept. There are two positions for this post; one will be based at Head Office, Pune and the other will be based at Mumbai / Navi Mumbai and will be in charge of the Mechanical dept. across the regions.

Mechanical Engineer with 20 to 25 years experience in Maintenance and Operation of Construction Plant & Equipment in a large construction project of a similar nature.

The candidate should have hands-on experience and also be in a leadership position on the activities and gamut of Maintenance and Operation, viz. Installation, testing and commissioning of plant and machinery, Construction equipment. The work experience should include ensuring smooth operation and maintenance of construction equipment, plant and machinery and transport vehicles viz.

- Preventive and Breakdown maintenance of vehicles/construction equipment.

Operations & Maintenance:

- Scheduling the time for preventive maintenance, regularly maintaining cranes; planning and effecting predictive & preventive maintenance schedules for various equipment to increase machine uptime & equipment reliability.

Erection & Commissioning:

- Commissioning the equipment/machinery related to Precast Factory, Batching Plants and other plants, etc.

- Carry out installation & commissioning, operation & maintenance, mobilization of plant & machineries.

- Anchoring the erection & commissioning of machines & equipment and ensuring completion of the project in minimum turnaround time, effective resource utilisation to maximise the output for the following:
