Role Overview:

We are seeking a visionary General Manager/Sr. General Manager - Design to spearhead our creative strategy and operational excellence in Bangalore. In this pivotal leadership role, you will oversee the end-to-end design lifecycle, bridging the gap between high-level conceptual aesthetics and functional business outcomes. You will act as the primary bridge between our elite clientele, internal cross-functional departments, and the design studio, ensuring that every project reflects our brand's commitment to innovation and quality. By mentoring a high-performing team and driving design excellence, you will directly influence our market positioning and elevate the customer experience, turning complex spatial challenges into industry-leading design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary design team, fostering a culture of continuous professional growth and creative excellence to ensure high-quality project delivery.

- Direct the strategic vision for interior design projects, ensuring that all concepts align with client expectations, budget constraints, and brand standards.

- Oversee the integration of advanced 3D visualisation techniques into the design workflow to enhance client communication and project clarity.

- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and external partners to streamline operational processes, driving efficiency and profitability across all design verticals.

- Manage the full spectrum of general management duties, including resource allocation, project timelines, and quality control, to ensure seamless execution from concept to handover.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale design operations with 14 - 18 years of professional experience, showcasing a track record of scaling creative teams and delivering complex projects.

- Expert proficiency in interior design principles and 3D visualisation software, with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of spatial planning.

- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, negotiate with vendors, and inspire creative teams toward a unified vision.

- Strong business acumen and general management capabilities, including P&L oversight, strategic planning, and the ability to navigate high-pressure, client-facing environments.

- Educational background in Architecture or Interior Design from a premier institute is highly preferred, complemented by a proven ability to thrive in an on-site, collaborative work environment in Bangalore.
