We are seeking a seasoned General Manager who is to lead our Security & Safety Operations in Mumbai. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the strategic planning and execution of comprehensive safety protocols, ensuring a secure environment for our employees, assets, and infrastructure. You will work closely with senior leadership, facility management teams, and external regulatory bodies to mitigate risks and maintain compliance with national safety standards. By fostering a culture of vigilance and proactive safety management, you will directly influence business continuity and operational excellence, serving as the primary authority for all security-related decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Formulate and implement robust security strategies to safeguard organizational assets and personnel against evolving physical and digital threats.

- Direct large-scale safety operations, including emergency response planning and disaster management, to ensure minimal disruption to business activities.

- Manage relationships with law enforcement, private security vendors, and government agencies to maintain regulatory compliance and local operational support.

- Oversee the deployment and maintenance of advanced surveillance and access control systems to enhance the overall security posture of our facilities.

- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective measures that protect the companys reputation and operational integrity.

- Lead and mentor cross-functional security teams, fostering a high-performance environment focused on accountability and rapid incident resolution.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrate deep expertise in Safety Management and Security Operations, with a proven track record of managing complex, multi-site security frameworks.

- Exhibit exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders and managing diverse teams in high-pressure environments.

- Possess strong analytical abilities to interpret security data and translate findings into actionable, long-term strategic improvements.

- Maintain clear and authoritative communication skills, essential for crisis management and coordinating with external regulatory authorities.

- Hold a relevant degree in Security Management, Business Administration, or a related field, complemented by professional certifications in safety or risk management.

- Adapt seamlessly to an on-site work environment in Mumbai, demonstrating the flexibility required to handle 24/7 operational demands and emergency requirements.

- Bring 10 to 20 years of progressive experience in security leadership roles, preferably within large-scale corporate or industrial settings.
