Role Overview:
The General Manager - Sales & Marketing (South India) will be responsible for driving business growth, dealer development, key account management, and overall brand positioning across the southern region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the premium laminate or surfacing material industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead sales & marketing operations for South India - including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve revenue and market share targets.
- Drive sales through dealer/distributor network and project sales channels (architects, interior designers, contractors, etc.).
- Identify and onboard new channel partners to expand market presence.
- Oversee regional marketing activities, exhibitions, and brand promotion initiatives.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to refine business strategy.
- Manage a team of Regional Managers / Sales Executives across South India.
- Collaborate with HO (Head Office) for product launches, pricing, and marketing campaigns.
- Ensure strong coordination between sales, logistics, and customer service for smooth operations.
- Regular reporting on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to management.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Graduate / MBA preferred.
- Experience: 12-18 years in Sales & Marketing of premium laminates / veneers / surface materials / interior products.
- Location: Based in Hyderabad; must be willing to travel extensively across South India.
- Strong network with architects, interior designers, and channel partners.
- Proven leadership in managing regional teams and delivering sales growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and team management skills.
