Job Description - GM Sales (Defense Sector)
Location: Noida | Experience: 15-22 Years | Department: Sales | Reports to: Sr. VP - Sales
Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Sales Leader (DGM/GM level) with extensive experience in the Defence & Government sector to drive business growth, manage key accounts, and lead sales strategies with MoD, MHA, Defence PSUs, CAPFs, and State Police. The role requires strong expertise in proposals, bidding, government tendering, and defence equipment solutions, along with extensive travel across India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales in the Defence & Government sector; achieve revenue targets.
- Build strong relationships with MoD, MHA, PSUs, State Police & Defence agencies.
- Lead tendering, bidding, and contract negotiations.
- Identify new business opportunities in defence/security equipment & system integration projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams for proposals and solution delivery.
- Represent the company at defence exhibitions and forums.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (Engineering/Science/General); MBA preferred.
- 15-22 years' experience in Defense/Govt. sales; 5+ years at leadership level.
- Proven track record with MoD, MHA, Defense PSUs & State Police.
- Strong in government tendering, proposals, and defense procurement processes.
- Prior experience with communication, security, or system integration projects desirable.
- Must be open to extensive travel across India.
