Position Title: General Manager - Sales & Marketing (Perfumes)
Location: DSHQ (Corporate Headquarters)
Reporting To: Sr. Vice President (Marketing)
Reports: No direct reports
Educational Qualification: - MBA in Marketing (mandatory)
Experience Required:
15-20 years of total experience in Sales & Marketing
- 8-10 years must be in the perfume industry
- Strong understanding of premium and luxury segments
Key Skills & Competencies:
Thorough knowledge of the perfume industry (product, packaging, pricing, competition, market trends)
- Strategic thinking and execution capabilities
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Creative mindset for branding, packaging, and product innovations
Primary Objectives:
To build and scale the Perfume category for the organization
- Lead end-to-end Sales and Marketing operations for perfumes
Key Responsibilities:
Develop overall product and marketing strategy for perfumes - covering product range, SKUs, pricing, packaging, distribution, and promotion.
- Engage with multiple sales formats to drive product placement and revenue growth.
- Conduct competitive scans and provide market intelligence.
- Oversee consumer research to align with trends and preferences.
- Collaborate with branding and communication agencies for campaigns and creatives.
- Innovate on packaging formats for different occasions and consumer segments.
- Work with perfume vendors for sourcing and development.
- Design and execute sales promotion plans.
- Drive sales tie-ups and partnerships to boost market penetration.
