Job Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Planning

1. Develop and execute a country-specific business strategy in alignment with corporate objectives and local market conditions.

2. Oversee market research, competitor analysis, and customer needs assessments to identify growth opportunities.

3. Drive a high-performance culture through setting clear objectives, managing performance, and fostering professional development among teams.

Sales and Business Development

1. Drive revenue growth by leading business development efforts, managing major client relationships, and overseeing contract negotiations.

2. Establish and manage strategic partnerships, alliances, and distributor networks to expand market reach.

3. Monitor sales performance and provide strategic guidance to the commercial team to meet and exceed revenue targets.

Operations and Financial Management

1. Ensure the branch operates within budget and achieves revenue, profitability, and cost targets.

2. Manage the branch's P&L, with oversight on budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and alignment with corporate policies.

Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management

1. Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and industry standards.

2. Mitigate operational risks by establishing effective internal controls and reporting mechanisms.

3. Oversee legal and compliance matters in coordination with the Corporate Legal and Compliance department.

Team Management and Development

1. Build, mentor, and manage a team, fostering an inclusive and motivating work environment.

2. Define roles, establish KPIs, and conduct regular performance reviews to drive accountability.

3. Identify training and development needs to enhance employee skills and productivity.

Customer and Stakeholder Engagement

1. Act as the primary representative for the company within the Country, building relationships with customers, industry stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.

2. Lead the development of strong customer relations to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

3. Communicate regularly with the corporate office to provide updates on market dynamics, opportunities, and challenges.

Job qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred).

- Minimum 10+ years of experience in a commercial leadership role within similar industries.

- Proven track record of managing P&L and achieving growth targets.

- Extensive experience in sales, business development, and operations within a competitive market.

- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and engage teams.

- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

- Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.

- Strong understanding of local market dynamics, regulations, and business practices.

- Demonstrated ability to drive growth, achieve targets, and deliver business outcomes.

- Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels and build strong, productive relationships.
