General Manager - Regulatory Affairs - Wellness

Description: We are seeking a GM Regulatory Affairs for a Series A funded Wellness Brand.

Job Profile:

- Front-face State FDA / Drug Control Authority inspections

- Handle surprise, complaint-triggered, and routine inspections

- Respond to and close inspection-led observations and notices

- De-escalate issues before they become litigation, shutdowns, or media risk

- Ensure license continuity during inspections and renewals

- Create repeatable inspection-readiness and response playbooks

- Train clinic teams on how to behave during inspections

GM Regulatory Affairs Requirements:

- 1018 years of hands-on experience with regulatory execution in the Healthcare / medical services

- Must have experience with multi-location clinics

- Experience engaging with State FDA / Drug Control Authorities

- Sound knowledge of Drugs & Cosmetics Act (including AyurvedaAllopathy interface exposure)

- Must have experience of direct handling of inspectors (not via juniors, consultants, or external counsel)

- Multi-state inspection exposure (not single-jurisdiction depth)

Preferred exposure

- Drugs & Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act (DMROA)

- Clinical Establishments Act (multi-state variations)

- Doctor registration and cross-state practice

- Consumer Protection Act / Consumer Courts

- ASCI health advertising compliance

- Municipal health, fire, and biomedical waste regulations

- Patient data protection & confidentiality

- Lease and property legal diligence.
