Position Details
Position Title: DGM/GM Quality (Projects)
Department: Projects
Reports to: COO-Projects
Location: Delhi NCR
Direct Reports: Quality Engineers / Site Quality Teams
Internal Stakeholders: Project Execution, Design, Procurement, EHS, Liaison, and Commercial Teams
External Stakeholders: Contractors, Consultants, Vendors, Third-Party Inspectors, and Statutory Authorities
Job Summary
Responsible for establishing, implementing, and driving quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) frameworks across all ongoing and existing projects in Delhi NCR. The role ensures that construction activities meet organizational standards, statutory norms, and project-specific quality benchmarks while fostering a culture of quality consciousness across teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Governance & Process Implementation:
- Define and implement the company-wide Quality Management System (QMS) for all projects.
- Develop and standardize quality control procedures, checklists, and inspection protocols to ensure adherence to design and specification requirements.
- Monitor implementation of QA/QC processes across project sites and ensure compliance with ISO and internal standards.
- Conduct periodic audits and inspections to identify deviations, non-conformities, and areas of improvement.
Project Oversight & Issue Resolution:
- Oversee and guide the quality teams deployed at various sites to ensure consistent application of quality processes.
- Collaborate with project and site leadership to address quality-related issues and implement preventive/corrective actions.
- Review and approve inspection reports, material testing results, and quality documentation submitted from sites.
- Ensure close coordination with design and procurement teams for technical submittals, vendor pre-qualification, and material approval processes.
Continuous Improvement & Quality Culture:
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by introducing industry best practices, benchmarking, and new technologies in QA/QC.
- Organize training sessions and workshops to build quality awareness and technical capability within the project teams.
- Analyze quality data to identify recurring issues, trends, and systemic gaps; propose structural improvements.
- Lead periodic Quality Review Meetings with project heads to discuss performance metrics and improvement plans.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain and update the master repository of quality records, including inspection test plans (ITPs), checklists, NCRs, and audit reports.
- Ensure all documentation supports compliance with regulatory, contractual, and internal audit requirements.
- Liaise with consultants and statutory authorities for quality-related inspections and certifications.
Leadership & People Management:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the QA/QC team across multiple projects.
- Set performance goals, conduct periodic reviews, and drive accountability within the team.
- Mentor and develop team members to strengthen technical and managerial capabilities in quality management.
- Promote collaboration across functions to embed quality into project delivery from design to execution.
Experience and Educational Qualification:
Experience:
- 15-20 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control within the Real Estate / Construction / Infrastructure industry.
- Proven experience in handling multiple large-scale residential and commercial projects simultaneously.
- Hands-on experience in setting up and managing QA/QC systems and leading multidisciplinary site quality teams.
Education:
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
- Additional certifications in Quality Management, ISO Auditing, or Six Sigma preferred.

- Proven ability to drive and enforce quality standards across multiple stakeholders.
