These plants are equipped with the world's best machinery in the business enabling Alufit to manufacture curtain walls that are relatively simple to complex & challenging. - We are looking for Purchase & Supply Chain Management candidates from Project/Construction industries Qualification and Education requirements: - BE-Mechanical / Civil Engineering - Management degree or post-graduation in supply chain management or Degree in supply chain management would be preferable. Experience: - About 12- 15 years of experience in Purchase & Supply Chain Management in Project / Faade Industry. - Proven record of accomplishment preferably in a multinational company operating in India or abroad. - Proven record in practicing and implementation of Code of conduct in procurement process. - About 3 - 5 years of experience in leadership role. - Responsible for development of Purchase Strategy, Procurement plan, Delivery of Material / Services by meeting the required quality, price and timelines. Accountable for vendor pre-qualification, New vendor development, Adding value to the business by mitigating the supply chain risks as well as delivery cost. Need to keep an eye on volatility in raw material prices and take the advantage / hedge the price risk. Key responsibilities: 1. Create and implement purchasing strategies, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance. 2. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the purchasing strategies /activities for direct and indirect materials. 3. Ability to implement high ethical standards with Code of Conduct in Procurement. 4. Identifying / developing the new vendors in Pan India or aboard as per project needs. 5. Pre-qualification of vendors / suppliers across the globe in conjunction with Quality team. 6. Developing RFI, RFQ documents and Floating enquiries to suppliers / manufacturers. 7. Rate analysis for critical items to do the best negotiations. 8. Do Techno commercial comparison and rank the suppliers. 9. Do the value engineering with suppliers / vendors / manufacturers and find the optimal solutions to create a value. 10. Presenting BATNA (Best Alternative to Negotiated Agreement) and ZOPA (Zone of possible agreement) to the management and seek approval for all major procurements. 11. Ensure correct information in PO / Contract / Agreement with technical, commercial and time lines, LD, Guarantee & Warrantee, Incoterms, etc... 12. Amendment of orders, in line with Production schedules. 13. Work closely with Cross functions like Design, BOM, Planning, Project team to develop detailed procurement plan. 14. Work closely with cross functions to develop alternate materials / tools / technics for betterment of organisation. 15. Collaborate with various stores / production unit to ensure minimum stock levels of critical items, as well as inventory control. 16. Develop the metrics for gauging inventory levels and maintaining those levels throughout the year 17. Maintain Approved Vendor List to accomplish specified requirements and keep evaluating them at least once in a year. 18. Conduct regular spend and opportunity analysis for product categories to find opportunities for cost reduction. 19. Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power. 20. Take the lead in creating profitable ways to manage obsolete and slow-moving stock to help offset losses 21. Manage the company's day-to-day purchasing activities including certification of payments to vendors / suppliers and ensuring on time payment to them. 22. Ensure that the function operates in accordance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures. 23. Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements. 24. Altering management about impact of any changes in the statutory requirements and proposing the adaptation procedure, well ahead of deadlines proposed by authorities. 25. Prepare annual Purchasing budget including Capital Expenditures, Develop KPIs. Present MIS reports on daily / weekly / monthly. 26. Initiate and develop innovations in procurement processes. 27. Evaluate the challenges faced by the business and take action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities. 28. Experience in Change order management, Dispute management, Arbitration and Mediation. 29. Coach, mentor, attract, retain and develop team members.
