General Manager - Project Planning - EPC

Job Purpose:

Responsible for overall planning, coordination, and execution of engineering activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality standards. The role involves defining project objectives, leading multidisciplinary teams, and managing stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define project-specific engineering objectives and execution strategies.

- Review and finalize engineering scope, deliverables, and schedules.

- Control engineering man-hour budgets and ensure timely document submission.

- Coordinate with licensors, vendors, and sub-contractors for deliverables.

- Ensure quality, compliance, and risk management across all project phases.

- Lead engineering reviews (P&ID, Plot Plan, 3D Model, HAZOP, etc.).

- Monitor progress, resolve technical and interface issues, and implement corrective actions.

- Manage outsourcing, vendor documentation, and technical clarifications.

- Capture lessons learned and promote continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelors/Masters in Engineering (Mechanical)

- 20+ years of experience in EPC or process industry project management

- Proven track record in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams
