Demand Planning, Production Planning, Inventory Management and EXportrequires a clear understanding of each function and how they contribute to business efficiency.

1. Demand Planning

Objective: Forecast future demand to ensure the right products are available at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to predict demand.

- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align forecasts with business goals.

- Optimize inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.

- Use AI-driven forecasting tools for accurate predictions.

2. Production Planning

Objective: Ensure manufacturing processes align with demand forecasts and resource availability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop production schedules to meet demand while minimizing downtime.

- Coordinate with procurement and manufacturing teams for raw material availability.

- Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency.

Ensure compliance with quality standards for both domestic and export markets.

3. Inventory Management

Objective: Maintain optimal stock levels to support production and sales without overstocking.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor inventory turnover rates to avoid obsolescence.

- Implement automated tracking systems for real-time inventory visibility.

- Work with finance teams to manage inventory costs effectively.

- Ensure export readiness by aligning inventory with international demand.

- Hiring Strategy

- Look for candidates with industry-specific experience (e.g., food manufacturing, exports).

- Prioritize expertise in data analytics and forecasting tools (SAP, Oracle, AI-driven models).

- Assess problem-solving skills to handle supply chain disruptions.

DAY TO DAY ACTIVITY

Production Planning & Scheduling

- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet demand forecasts.

- Coordinate with procurement and manufacturing teams to ensure raw materials availability.

- Optimize production efficiency while minimizing downtime and waste.

Inventory Management (Excluding Warehouse)

- Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.

- Implement inventory control systems for accurate tracking.

- Ensure raw materials and finished goods are available for export without delays.

Export Coordination & Compliance

- Work closely with export teams to align production with international demand.

- Ensure compliance with export regulations, documentation, and quality standards.

- Optimize lead times for export shipments to meet global market requirements.

Process Optimization & Cost Control

- Identify efficiency improvements in production planning and inventory management.

- Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.

- Utilize technology-driven solutions for better forecasting and planning.

Stakeholder Collaboration

- Coordinate with sales, procurement, and export teams for seamless operations.

- Work with finance teams to manage inventory costs effectively.

- Ensure alignment with business goals and international market demands.
