General Manager - Production - OSD Formulations

Role Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished General Manager Production (OSD Formulations) to lead and oversee production operations for our formulations plant in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) manufacturing, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive compliance, efficiency, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure adherence to GMP, USFDA, MHRA, and other international quality standards.

- Oversee production planning, resource allocation, and timely execution of batches.

- Collaborate with Quality, R&D, Engineering, and Regulatory teams for smooth plant operations.

- Drive cost optimization, yield improvements, and productivity enhancement initiatives.

- Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure operational excellence and compliance.

- Lead and mentor large cross-functional teams, ensuring workforce motivation and high performance.
- Manage audits, inspections, and compliance documentation.

- Contribute to strategic decision-making for capacity expansion, automation, and new product introductions.

Key Requirements:

- Proven expertise in handling large-scale OSD manufacturing operations.

- Strong knowledge of GMP, USFDA, and global regulatory requirements.

- Demonstrated success in driving efficiency, compliance, and team leadership.

- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.

- B.Pharm / M.Pharm / related qualification (Ph.D. preferred).
