General Manager - Procurement - Personal Care

Role Purpose:

- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Manager (RM/PM) to lead the sourcing and procurement of raw materials and packaging materials for our specialty chemicals & ODM division.

- This role is critical in ensuring cost-effective, timely, and quality procurement of materials that meet production and compliance standards while supporting innovation and sustainability. To deliver target gross margin by procuring Specialty chemicals raw materials at competitive cost and cash. To ensure the sustainability, quality and service to factories are non negotiables.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for raw materials (including solvents, actives, additives) and packaging components aligned with business objectives.

- Building Relationship with supplier and building partnership

- Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with domestic and international suppliers to ensure reliability, quality, cost competitiveness, and risk mitigation.

- Strong and close coordination with the R&D Procurement team & Commercial product procurement team

- Develop Alternate vendors for strategic buying

- Ensuring most competitive cost and market beating supplier credit.

- Give Outside In Market prospective to Business to take right decisions.

- Periodic Market Reviews BU Heads.

- RM/ PM timely input to the R&D team & Business Finance

Planning and Strategizing:

- Productions planning of three months rolling plan of raw materials

- Support in development of Annual Business Plan as well as Strategic Procurement Plan.

- For improving Sustainability Score drive internal management and get necessary budgetary sanctions.

- Setting up buying & sourcing capabilities for specialty raw materials

- Plan hybrid model of sourcing directly from principle or through distributions and sub distributors

- Policy and Process Design, Implementation and Review

- Compare Import / Domestic prices and take right decision.

- Prepare and Track Monthly MIS compared to ABP
