This is a high-visibility role offering direct exposure to senior leadership and involvement in enterprise-defining strategic initiatives.
Role Overview:
The M&A Integration & Value Creation team is responsible for leading post-merger integration efforts across strategic acquisitions. The team drives governance, synergy realization, organizational alignment, and execution excellence from due diligence through post-close integration.
The role requires a combination of strategic thinking, program management expertise, stakeholder influence, and operational execution capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Integration Strategy & Governance
- Establish and drive enterprise-wide integration governance frameworks and best practices.
- Define integration operating models, decision-making structures, and executive reporting mechanisms.
- Partner with senior leadership to formulate integration strategies and value-creation roadmaps.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders on integration priorities, risks, and opportunities.
2. Integration Planning & Execution
- Lead end-to-end integration planning across multiple acquisitions.
- Translate deal rationale into actionable integration blueprints with defined milestones and accountability.
- Coordinate cross-functional workstreams covering:

- Operations & Delivery

- Technology & Digital Platforms
3. Synergy Realization & Value Capture
- Assess and validate revenue, cost, and margin synergy opportunities.
- Build detailed synergy tracking frameworks and realization plans.
- Drive commercial integration initiatives including cross-selling opportunities and go-to-market alignment.
- Evaluate cost optimization opportunities across corporate functions and delivery operations.
- Develop KPI dashboards to monitor integration progress and business case achievement.
4. Program Management & Stakeholder Engagement
- Establish governance forums, steering committees, and executive review mechanisms.
- Prepare leadership and board-level updates on integration progress and value realization.
- Manage relationships with external advisors, consultants, and integration partners.
- Drive alignment across multiple business units and geographies.
5. Risk Management & Business Continuity
- Identify and mitigate integration-related risks including customer retention, talent attrition, and operational disruption.
- Ensure continuity of business operations throughout the integration lifecycle.
- Monitor compliance with legal, regulatory, audit, and governance requirements.
6. Organizational & Cultural Integration
- Partner with HR teams on organizational design, leadership integration, talent retention, and compensation harmonization.
- Drive stakeholder communication strategies across employees, customers, and partners.
- Lead cultural integration initiatives to foster alignment and engagement.
7. Capability Building
- Contribute to the development of a scalable M&A integration capability and center of excellence.
- Capture lessons learned and continuously improve integration methodologies and playbooks.
- Mentor team members and support the development of integration best practices.
Candidate Profile:
- MBA from a premier institution (IIMs, ISB, XLRI, SPJIMR, FMS, MDI or equivalent).
- 8-12 years of professional experience in consulting with 6-8 years in M&A integration, corporate development, or management consulting (Big 4/MBBK).

- Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional, multi-geography programs.
- Strong understanding of integration methodologies, synergy tracking, governance structures, and value creation frameworks.
- Excellent financial acumen with experience in business case development and performance measurement.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive outcomes in matrix organizations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in technology services, consulting, professional services, or digital transformation environments.
- Exposure to international integrations across North America, Europe, and APAC.
- Certifications such as PMP, Change Management, or M&A Integration are advantageous.
- Experience with ERP consolidation, operating model transformation, or digital platform integration.
