General Manager - Polymer Operations [Polyethylene (PE), Polypropylene (PP)]

Location: Bharuch, Gujarat

Key Deliverables:

- Provide technical leadership to Operations such that customer requirements for polymer quality, quantity and dispatch are met

- Interface with Marketing and also facilitate customer visits, participate in technical discussions with customer

- Build core competence in performance polymer manufacturing by developing talent

- Continuously improve capabilities to produce different varieties by working closely with R & D and Marketing

- Assist Site Head to ensure complies to customer, statutory and expectations of plant functioning

Team size: About 150 people

Candidate profile:

Graduate engineer in Polymer / Chemical with proven experience in Polymer manufacturing. (polymers can be high performance polymers or even high volume regular polymers) Excellent process knowledge, familiarity with quality control equipment,

Other essential requirements:

- Excellent process knowledge

- Good accomplishments in processing of plastics & development

- Ability to go hands on while solving technical problems

- Proven people leadership
