
Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned HR leader to join our Pune office as the General Manager (People & Culture).
In this pivotal role, you will serve as the strategic architect of our human capital agenda, bridging the gap between business objectives and employee experience.
You will work closely with the executive leadership team to drive organizational transformation, while mentoring a diverse HR team to deliver excellence across the entire employee lifecycle.
By fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring operational rigor, you will directly influence our ability to attract top-tier talent, retain high-potential performers, and maintain a scalable, compliant, and inclusive workplace that supports our long-term growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute comprehensive Talent Acquisition strategies to secure high-caliber professionals who align with our long-term business vision.
- Oversee end-to-end HR Operations and Payroll processes to ensure seamless service delivery, data integrity, and absolute regulatory compliance.
- Implement robust Performance Management frameworks that incentivize excellence and provide clear pathways for professional growth across all levels.
- Spearhead Learning and Development initiatives that bridge skill gaps and prepare our workforce for future industry challenges.
- Cultivate a vibrant Employee Engagement ecosystem to boost morale, drive retention, and reinforce our core organizational values.
- Manage Compensation and Benefits structures to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity, directly impacting our employer brand.
- Lead Organization Development interventions to streamline structures and improve cross-functional collaboration during periods of rapid scaling.
- Leverage HRIS platforms to provide data-driven insights that inform executive decision-making and optimize workforce planning.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in managing the full spectrum of HR functions, with a proven track record of leading large-scale HR operations for 10 to 14 years.
- Exceptional ability to translate complex business goals into actionable people strategies, backed by strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Superior interpersonal and communication abilities, with the gravitas to influence senior stakeholders and build consensus across diverse teams.
- Deep functional knowledge of statutory HR Compliance and labor laws, ensuring the organization remains protected and ethically sound.
- Proficiency in managing sophisticated HRIS ecosystems to automate workflows and enhance the overall employee experience.
- A postgraduate degree in Human Resources or a related field from a premier institute is highly preferred.
- High adaptability to an on-site work environment in Pune, with the flexibility to navigate the evolving needs of a fast-paced, high-growth organization.
- Experience in real estate, construction, infrastructure, or similar large workforce organizations will be a MUST.
