General Manager - Operations - Cosmetics

Key Responsibilities:

Should have experience in Cosmetic segment

- Oversee the entire operations of the factory, including production, procurement, quality control, and maintenance.

- Develop and implement innovative strategies to streamline factory operations and improve productivity.

- Screen, recruit, and train staff to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.

- Ensure worker safety and adherence to safety protocols.

- Monitor equipment and schedule maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.

- Prepare and implement budgets and production schedules.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

- Coordinate with other departments such as sales and customer service to align objectives.

- Resolve issues and disputes among factory staff.

- Communicate with suppliers, customers, and stakeholders about factory performance.

- Keep a record of all factory activities and report on important metrics.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Cosmetics Industry.

- Profound knowledge of all fields of enterprise operations.

- Strong understanding of production processes, machines, and tools.

- Ability to develop and implement effective strategies for operational improvement.

- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

- Knowing the Language of French / Lingwala/Swahili is an added Advantage

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.

- Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.

- Experience in lean manufacturing principles.
