Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with CEO / COO / Board in setting and driving organizational vision & operations strategy;
- Creates an environment and culture that focuses on fulfilling the company's mission, vision, and values.
- Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planning;
- Ensures quality metrics are achieved through sound business processes & by scrupulously following regulatory requirements.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of Sales, Business Development, Procurement, Supervision of Telecom Network roll-out & maintenance, IT, Strategic Planning and Budgeting, HR & Admin, Finance & Accounts and Regulatory Compliance;
- Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture that ensures team members can thrive and that organizational goals are met;
- Manage capital and operational expenses effectively and efficiently to ensure that the company achieves investor targets for growth and profitability translating to enhancement in shareholders' value
- Monitoring performances and take corrective measures when necessary, and preparing detailed updates and forecasts
- Building and maintaining trusting relationships with partners, vendors, Regulator, Statutory bodies and other relevant stakeholders
- Oversees financial performance and risk profile while ensuring that all of regulatory obligations are met; manages the design and implementation of new products and services; and oversees brand development and the implementation of effective marketing strategies.
- Ensures the timely submission of month-end financial and operational reviews info pack to the board.
- Monitors company performance by measuring and analysing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances.
- Increases operational revenues and implements operating cost controls in all the relevant areas across the organisation.
- Communicates circumstances and events of operations to officers, managers and other appropriate people to keep all apprised.
- Effectively manages contract negotiations and statutory compliance.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Excellent leadership & communications skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
- Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics
- Ability to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential issues
- Should be over 45 years of age (preferably between 45 & 50) and should have a proven track record with over 15 years of relevant experience of which at least the last 5 years was in similar executive level position
- Has experience in telecom industry in executive leadership roles with particular reference in handling:
a. Retail Sales
b. Agent / Dealer Channel
c. Marketing
d. Customer care
- Excellent interpersonal communications, public speaking and presentation skills
- Ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external constituencies
- Preferably a MBA in Sales & Marketing from reputed business schools / institution with engineering degree in Telecommunications
