General Manager - Operations

Description:

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Optimize the last mile logistics cost per order by implementing initiatives around various levers i.e commercial contracting construct with transporters, Orders per day per vehicle (Double trips), right vehicle type, Order wise packing and so on

- Ensure best-in-class service levels (95%+) to drive sales and customer satisfaction

- Cost control and optimization across Warehousing (Rental, Manpower Costs, Stock Losses, Last mile transportation costs)

- Manage warehouse manpower and address any issues that arise

- Implement relevant technology and refine the processes across the board to drive efficiencies

Requirements:

- Experience of managing milk-run based last mile logistics through 3W / 4W vehicles is a must

- Warehousing and Logistics experience for at-least 7+ years

- Team management responsibilities for at least 3+ years

- Education from Tier 1/1.5 colleges is preferred

- Strong Problem-solving and analytical skills

- Meticulous attention to details

- Highly organized

- Good people skills
