General Manager - Network Planning

ABOUT THE CLIENT:

- Our client is a leading player in the Logistics space funded and backed by a well known Indian business house.

BACKGROUND TO THE ROLE:

- Our client is looking for a seasoned professional who will report to the CEO and head network strategy, route optimization, and order management- bringing commercial acumen and a forward-thinking approach to logistics innovation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Network Planning & Design: Develop and execute pan-India logistics network design strategies that enhance delivery speed, cost efficiency, and service reliability

- Order & Indent Management: Oversee the entire order lifecycle, from customer indent receipt to final delivery, ensuring alignment with operational capabilities

- Process Leadership & Strategic Impact: Design and implement scalable SOPs for order management and network operations, with a strong focus on enhancing

customer delivery experience

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

- 10-15 years in logistics, supply chain, or network planning roles, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership capacity

- Proven track record in planning schedules, routes, and tracking orders

- Strong understanding of transportation cost monitoring and control

- Strong understanding of logistics operations, order-to-cash cycles, and customer service models

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field from a reputed B-School
