General Manager - MEP

Location : Mumbai (Powai)

Position Overview:

The General Manager MEP is responsible for providing strategic leadership, direction, and oversight to all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) functions across the organizations projects. This role ensures the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency in the design, execution, and maintenance of MEP systems, in alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

- Oversee planning, design, execution, and commissioning of MEP systems across multiple large-scale projects; ensure timely and within-budget delivery.

Team Management:

- Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of MEP engineers, supervisors, and technicians; foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Coordination:

- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure effective communication, coordination, and satisfaction.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

- Ensure all MEP works comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations; implement robust QA/QC processes.

Budgeting & Cost Control:

- Identify potential risks related to MEP works and implement mitigation strategies.

Innovation & Sustainability:

- Drive adoption of new technologies, sustainable practices, and value engineering to enhance system performance and reduce environmental impact.

Reporting:

- Provide regular updates and detailed reports to senior management on project status, resource utilization, risks, and opportunities.
