We are recruiting a highly skilled and dynamic Mechanical Packages Procurement Specialist with 15-20 years of experience in Supply Chain and Purchasing functions. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of procurement processes, stakeholder and vendor management, and hands-on experience with SAP and ARIBA platforms. This role demands a proactive, adaptable approach to support business objectives, resolve purchase-related queries, negotiate, benchmark and drive best practice standards across stakeholder and vendor forums.


- The successful candidate will have relevant experience in infrastructure procurement in mechanical items including but not limited to PAHU, DX units , Chillers , HVAC, CRAC (Computer Room Air Conditioning) Units, TIA units , Mechanical items related to Fire , Security , Access controls , Raised Flooring and Cable Trays , Cooling Towers, Pumps and Piping Systems, struts , DG Low side works , HSD tanks, buffer vessels , expansion tanks etc.

Key Responsibilities :

- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers through thorough market research and analysis.

- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize supply chain efficiency and drive cost savings.

- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and align procurement solutions with business goals.

- Validate procurement requirements and initiate RFQ/RFP tender processes through ARIBA.

- Conduct cost comparisons and arrive at target pricing.

- Lead negotiation and contract closure with vendors, involving Legal and internal stakeholders for major deals.

- Work closely with user functions and teams from project inception to make SCM-based recommendations impacting deliverables.

- Engage early with stakeholders to ensure correct vendor selection, commercial models.

- Monitor Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance of key project suppliers.

- Identify and mitigate risks by developing alternate supplier plans.

- Facilitate periodic supplier governance meetings.

- Drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reduction initiatives.

- Demonstrate expertise in managing contracts and supplier relationships.

- Lead successful cost reduction and process improvement projects.

- Lead supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions.

- Oversee contract drafting, review, and execution to ensure compliance with legal and company policies.

- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

- Monitor supplier performance and contractual compliance

- Strictly adhering to the Purchase policy and guidelines laid down by organization .

- Participate actively in internal and external audits ensuring zero non-compliance.

Skills/Exp :

- Mechanical Engineering Graduate from reputed institute (Full Time)/ MBA from Good B School

- 15-17 years relevant Experience in Supply Chain / Procurement in Relevant industry Preferably Data Centre, Telecom, IT / Manufacturing / Large Infra companies etc)

- Relevant Exp. In SAP , Ariba

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Expert in Excel / Microsoft power point

- Exp in Power BI shall be added advantage

- Ability to communicate with Impact and engage effectively with stakeholder.

- Strong Commercial , Analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
