About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Manager Marketing to lead the hospitals overall marketing, business development, and brand-building initiatives. The GM Marketing will be responsible for driving patient inflow (domestic, corporate, and international), expanding referral networks, and enhancing the hospitals market presence. This role requires strong leadership, strategic decision-making, and the ability to execute high-impact marketing initiatives aligned with the hospital's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Leadership:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase revenue, patient footfall, and hospital visibility.
- Lead and mentor the marketing, corporate relations, and business development teams.
- Define annual marketing plans, budgets, and growth projections.
Patient Acquisition (Domestic, Corporate & International):
- Drive initiatives to increase OP/IP patient flow across all specialties.
- Build and manage corporate tie-ups, third-party administrators (TPAs), and international patient facilitation networks.
- Oversee patient engagement programs and service enhancement initiatives.
Referral Network Development:
- Strengthen relationships with local and regional doctors, clinics, and healthcare partners.
- Plan and execute referral programs, CMEs, medical camps, and outreach activities.
- Ensure effective communication and support to referring partners.
Branding & Promotional Campaigns:
- Lead hospital branding across online and offline channels, ensuring consistency in brand identity.
- Oversee advertising campaigns, media relations, PR activities, and event planning.
- Manage content development for brochures, digital platforms, and marketing collateral.
Digital Marketing & Online Presence:
- Supervise digital marketing strategies including social media, SEO/SEM, website optimization, and online reputation management.
- Track digital performance metrics and ensure improved online engagement.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
- Monitor competitor activities, healthcare market trends, and patient demographics.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership for strategic decision-making.
- Maintain dashboards, MIS, and campaign performance reports.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with clinical, administrative, finance, and operational teams to support service launches and marketing activities.
- Ensure seamless coordination during promotions, events, and new initiatives.
External Relationship Management:
- Develop strong relationships with community leaders, corporate clients, government bodies, and international partners.
- Represent the hospital at conferences, trade events, and networking platforms.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 15+ years of experience in healthcare marketing, hospital business development, or similar leadership roles.
- Proven experience in increasing patient inflow, strategic brand development, corporate/network tie-ups, and outreach programs.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Expertise in digital marketing, promotional planning, and market analytics.
