Production & Operations Excellence:
- Achieve production output in line with business goals and operational plans.
- Drive operational excellence, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to sustainability and EHS (Environment, Health, Safety) targets.
P&L & Business Performance:
- Take full P&L accountability for manufacturing operations.
- Optimize costs, productivity, and profitability while maintaining highest quality standards.
- Maximize revenue through operational efficiency and cost reduction programs.
Quality, Compliance & Audits:
- Oversee quality management systems, vendor audits, and statutory compliance.
- Implement and monitor food safety, GMP, and regulatory frameworks across sites.
- Ensure zero-defect culture and customer satisfaction.
Leadership & People Development:
- Lead large cross-functional teams across production, QA, supply chain, and engineering.
- Build leadership succession pipelines and develop high-performance teams.
- Drive cultural transformation towards innovation, agility, and excellence.
Supply Chain & Vendor Management:
- Streamline procurement, inventory, logistics, and vendor partnerships.
- Ensure supply chain efficiency and resilience to meet market demands.
Required Candidate Profile
Education: B. Tech in Chemical Engineering (mandatory)
- MBA/PGDM in Operations Management (preferred)
Experience:
- 18+ years of progressive experience in Food, API, or FMCG manufacturing.
- Minimum 10 years in leadership roles with proven P&L accountability.
- Strong exposure to manufacturing excellence, lean systems, and large-scale operations management.
Competencies:
- Strategic leadership & P&L ownership.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma.
- Excellent stakeholder management, vendor relations, and compliance oversight.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and people management skills
