General Manager - Key Accounts/Business Development - Chemical Firm

Vacancy: General Manager / Sr. General Manager - Business Development & Key Account Management (CMCD)

Experience: Minimum 12 years

Education: B.E/B.Tech in Chemical, B.sc in Chemistry/Bio Chemistry

Location: Berigai, Near Hosur-Bangalore

Reporting into: EVP Sales & Marketing (CMCD)

Job Purpose:

The role would involve building long-term relationships & partnerships with key customers and manage key accounts with global innovators especially in Europe and North America. The role would involve market intelligence, business development & global program management and interface with both internal and external key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Achieving Sales Volume & Revenue Goals by Business Development and Account management

2. Business Development:

- Develop/manage key accounts, build strong customer relationships and increase wallet share with customers

- Identify new customers and develop contacts / relationships

- Consistent evaluation of market conditions & trends and monitor competitors activity products, pricing, marketing techniques.

- Carry out primary & secondary research for identifying new opportunities for custom manufacturing

3. Lead cost negotiations and manage contractual agreements with global customers.

4. Review projects with Program Managers and site teams and highlight risks or opportunities
