Role spec:
- Spearhead the development and execution of systems that streamline the procurement of indirect materials and services, ensuring a timely and cost-effective supply from a network of capable partners.
- Directing the development and implementation of key procurement strategies / contingency plans for commodities and ensuring that plans are aligned with all contractual and statutory requirements while ensuring project schedule.
- Ensuring purchase schedules against the purchase plan for timely procurement of various items
- Planning and budgeting of purchase functions, involving cost estimation, contract negotiations
- Proactive follow-ups with Business operation and Vendors
- Maintaining good supplier relations
- Meeting process TATs for PO processing and other activities
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing and other important data
- Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures

- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication abilities, both internal and external.
- Proven ability to work independently and lead teams effectively.
