General Manager - Investor Relations

Key Responsibilities

- Investor Communication & Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy that effectively communicates the company's financial performance, strategic vision, and growth prospects to institutional investors, analysts, and other financial stakeholders.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong, credible relationships with key investors, sell-side and buy-side analysts, and rating agencies. Organize and lead investor roadshows, conferences, and one-on-one meetings.

- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Collaborate closely with finance and leadership teams to ensure accurate and timely dissemination of financial results, annual reports, and other investor-related disclosures. Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and investor feedback to refine communication strategies.

- Market Intelligence: Monitor and analyze market sentiment, analyst reports, and competitive landscape to provide critical insights to senior management and the board.

- Crisis Management: Assist in developing and executing communication plans during critical company events or market fluctuations.

- Compliance & Governance: Ensure all investor communications comply with regulatory requirements (e.g., SEBI guidelines) and corporate governance best practices.

- Team Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with legal, finance, corporate communications, and business unit leaders to ensure a consistent and cohesive corporate message.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience: Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in Investor Relations, Financial Planning & Analysis, Equity Research, or a related field, preferably within a publicly listed company.

- Education: MBA or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

- Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies, and capital markets.

- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial and strategic information clearly and concisely.

- Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with the investment community.

- Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and reporting standards.

- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to work independently, lead initiatives, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
