A leading food manufacturing group with diversified operations in Meat, Fruit Pulp, Coffee, and Pet Food is seeking a seasoned finance professional to head Internal Audit. The role is designed for a candidate who has managed end-to-end finance functions and is now ready to lead Internal Audit, while also being groomed for broader finance leadership roles in the future.

Position: GM Internal Audit

Level: DGM / GM (ready to take GM Internal Audit position)

Location: Mumbai

Education: CA (Batch 20062012 pass-out only)

Audit Partner: Big 4 agency involvement ensures exposure to global best practices

Scope & Accountabilities:

- Lead Internal Audit function across multiple business verticals.

- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.

- Oversee financial controls, risk management, and governance frameworks.

- Collaborate with Big 4 auditors and internal teams for audit planning and execution.

- Drive process improvements in finance, accounting, and operational controls.

- Prepare audit reports, present findings to management, and recommend corrective actions.

- Support CFO and senior leadership in finance transformation initiatives.

- Groom into broader finance leadership roles beyond audit.

Competencies / Key Attributes:

- Strong foundation in Finance & Accounts (not limited to audit).

- Ability to independently handle financials, taxation, MIS, and compliance.

- Strategic mindset with hands-on audit execution.
